The Dark Crusade of the Peg-Legged Midget who may or may not have had Alzheimers.

Anyways, the title of this note is not ENTIRELY ficticious.

Today I...

A) Bought 'Dawn of War: Anthology' which is a 3-in-1 game back consisting of Dawn of War, Dawn of War: Winter Assault and the latest expansion pack (the thing I really wanted), Dark of War: Dark Crusade.

B) I saw a Peg-Legged Midget. No kidding. You can't make this stuff up. Only in London, eh?

C) I befriended a Frech-Canadian Alzheimers charity worker called Jean-Paul from Quebec, Canada. He was trying to get donations for what is apparently the only organisation specifically for those with Alzheimers in the UK. I was sympathetic for the lack of charity he was getting, but explained I hadn't got the cash to spare for there monthly donation thing, being a student n'all. We then discussed the upcomming Nintendo Wiii console, as well as the rumours are about that Metal Gear Solid 4 might well be coming out for the XBOX360, meaning many people won't have a reason to get the PS3 which quite frankly is overexpensive and going to the dogs.

However, I shall donate in the futue. Rob will make sure. I want to know people will be there to look after me when I start waiting at the fridge for the next train.

It's finally happened. I'm a Media geek...

Whoa, all this Media Studies stuff is finally turning me into a Media geek. It dawned on me today when I was discussing Julia's idea of a reader-magazine. I guess a bit like YouTube but in print. I pointed out to her the idea would be better suited to an online publication because the content would be easier to manage by the readers. However it would certainly be a nice twist if the readers made it online but it came out in a printed form as welll. Thought this raises the issue of wether the online version should have a suscription service, so as not to lose sales of the solid copy.

You can see what I mean by succumbing to the Media. And I am genuinely interested. It's bloody brilliant.
