How to set up a Natwest Student Account (Concluded)

Step 1: After initial application, await arrival of your Natwest Debit Card in the post as you would with another highstreet bank such as Barclays. You can expect to receive your bank details, online banking details, cheque book etc. within the next few days.

Step 2: After discovering you must collect your debit card from your local branch two days before moving to Uni, begin to panic. Go to your local branch to get your card.

Step 3: Learn your local branch doesn't actually have your card, and has in fact sent it to the regional office, in this instance, Cambridge. Drive to Cambridge.

Step 4: Join a cue of fellow students who, as it happens, have all encountered the exact same problem. Wait 15 minutes and you may or may not receive your card.

Step 5: Activate your card. Congratulations, you now have full access to your Natwest Banking facilities.

NOTE: Setting up online banking was easy, so I you've got to give them some credit.
